Boyd Hopes New County Supervisors Won’t Rush To Judgment

The lone Republican on the new Albemarle Board of Supervisors continues to believe in the Route 29 Western Bypass.  Ken Boyd (pictured) hopes the board’s newest members won’t rush to judgment, and consider the consequences if they try to pull the plug on the bypass project.  The board’s new Democratic majority has picked Ann Mallek and Brad Sheffield to represent the county on the Metropolitan Planning Organization. That’s a policy board that deals with local road projects and other transportation features. Mallek and Sheffield have replaced longtime bypass supporters Duane Snow and Rodney Thomas.  Boyd was a Tuesday guest on the Schilling Show.
