A city councilor hopes those who work for the regional library won’t face many hassles because of a new policy on snacks and cell phones. Kristin Szakos (pictured) has discussed the new guidelines with a veteran library employee. Szakos believes the staff will promptly tell anyone who yells into a cell-phone to cut it out. The new policy took effect July 1st. Opponents of cell-phones and eating in the libraries have already shared their viewpoints with the trustees and city councilors.
