Governor Disowns PAC Letter

Personal access to the governor in return for a big donation. That’s the claim from Governor McAuliffe’s political action committee. But the governor says young staffers sent out that letter without his knowledge. It claimed that a $100,000 donation would get you dinner with McAuliffe and his wife, as well as monthly meetings with policy experts. The governor says he will not abide by the PAC letter because he doesn’t like tying a set donation to a certain type of access.
