Madison Delegate Says Cost Of Policy Under Obamacare Floored Him

A local General Assembly member says the price tag of the Affordable Care Act truly stunned him. When he’s not in Richmond handling his duties as a part-time legislator, Delegate Ed Scott is a partner in a small business in Culpeper. The Madison County Republican got a notice this month from his insurance company, which let him know a new policy will cost nearly 70% more. Scott (pictured) has shared his story with fellow House members.
