State Might Reduce The Number Of SOL Tests

Here’s somthing that could be a relief for both students and teachers. House of Delegates Republicans want to reduce the number of Standards of Learning tests Virginia students take.  GOP Delegate Tag Greason (pictured) of Loudoun County says students get tested too often, and teachers are spending too much time sharpening their kids’ test-taking skills. Governor Terry McAuliffe has also declared he wants to reduce the number of standardized tests.
