SunTrust Pays Fine For Mortgage Program Conduct

A $320 million dollar settlement with SunTrust Mortgage. Federal prosecutors say the Richmond-based firm misled consumers in Virginia and elsewhere who sought mortgage relief through a federal program in 2009 and 2010. U.S. Attorney Tim Heaphy (pictured) says SunTrust has a plan of restitution for its victims.
