The 2014 General Assembly is right around the corner, and House of Delegates Minority Leader David Toscano hopes to see a new attitude from the Republican majority. The Charlottesville Democrat contends voters delivered a message in the November 5th statewide elections. Toscano (pictured) views it as a setback for what he calls Tea Party Republicans. GOP leaders note the Democrats’ success in the three statewide races was not duplicated in most House of Delegates contests. Republicans will continue to hold a 2-1 majority in the House.
