I am easily amused at 5am, but as I watched this video this morning I had to laugh and think what great teachers these kids must have to have so much fun.
TEACHER'S 'DANCING BEHIND STUDENTS' VIDEO GOES VIRAL: Mike Penny -- a history teacher at Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School in Worcester, Massachusetts -- has created a video that has gone viral. The teacher convinced students to talk on camera by telling them he was making a documentary for the school's annual film festival. In the video, the students are seen talking to Penny while teachers sneak into the background and show off their best dance moves. The students had no idea that there were dancing teachers behind them and only discovered the truth when the film debuted at the festival. At press time the video had more than 50,000 views. According to the YouTube page Mike Penny has been contacted by Ellen DeGeneres. (Buzzfeed)
So yesterday my family and I were on our way to my moms house when we encountered 2 seperate vehicle accidents. The first one was a car completely engulfed in flames and thankfully no one hurt in that one. A few minutes after that we drove up on another accident this time involving a motorcycle. 2 people were laying down in the ditch. Apparently they couldn't make the turn and they wound up on the opposite side of the road. When we got there we jumped out, my husband directed the traffic and I and a couple of other ladies talked to the woman and her boyfriend who were thankfully alert and awake, but definitely shaken up and in shock. I'm fairly confident that these two will be okay, but boy something like this really shakes you up. It also makes you realize how unprepared you are for things like this. So, I was asking listeners today to give their best advice for being prepared on the road to help if you're needed. Here is what they said.
One listener said that having a First Aid Kit and an emergency road kit w/flares and caution cones is helpful. Also a towel and flashlight.

WAS JACK THE RIPPER A WOMAN?: Could Jack the Ripper have been a woman? That's what a new book argues, suggesting that the killer who murdered five prostitutes in London's Whitechapel district in 1888 was a woman named Lizzie Williams, the wife of physician Sir John Williams, who himself was labeled a suspect in a 2005 book. Author John Morris, a retired lawyer, contends in Jack The Ripper: The Hand of a Woman, that Lizzie killed the prostitutes out of anger over being infertile, and the despair led her to remove the wombs of three of the victims. Among the evidence Morris cites:
None of the five prostitutes were sexually assaulted.
The personal items of one of the victims were laid out at her feet, quote, "in a feminine manner."
Three buttons from a woman's boot were found in blood near the body of another victim and remnants of women's clothing were found in the fireplace ashes of yet another one, and the items didn't belong to the victims.
Evidence suggesting that one of the five women, Mary Kelly, was having an affair with Lizzie's husband, who ran abortion clinics in Whitechapel.
Evidence suggesting that Lizzie suffered a nervous breakdown soon after the murders.
Despite Morris' arguments, other so-called "Ripperologists" have dismissed the idea that Lizzie Williams was the killer. Over the years, more than 100 people -- until now all of them men -- have been theorized as possible Jack the Ripper suspects.
