Confessions Part 3
Confessions Part 3

Well, the ugliness of 2012 has reared it’s ugly head in 2013 and it looks like the trip that I had planned with my daughter to Haiti, is not going to happen for us. The good thing is that it is still going to happen for close to 40 other people, and even though we are not going, I am devoted to help them with their fundraising efforts this year for the trip. So, more on that to come as the fundraisers are set.

However, I do plan on run/walking the Women’s Four Miler this year and running with my friend Zach Conner in the Special Olympics 10K. I guess I’d better start practicing, huh? These are my “firsts” this year. I think that’s enough for now, right?

Oh wait, here is another first for me this year, renewing people’s vows. I have never done that and I will be doing it for the first time this Thursday at Shenandoah Joe Coffee Roasters on Preston Ave from 7-9am. It’s a special Valentine’s Day event. I hope you will join me.
