A: Make friends

HAVING A BABY HELPS YOUR SOCIAL LIFE: A British website that sells baby products finds that of two-thousand new mothers surveyed, 53-percent said they felt it was surprisingly easy to make friends after having a baby. Seventy-percent said it was because they had so much in common, and 16-percent said their social life actually improved after having a baby. Eighty-percent said they have ‘poured their heart out’ to other women about their concerns about being a good mom and guilt over whether they should go back to work. The survey also found that childless women have an average of 13 friends, while the year after they have a child that number grows to 22 friends. (Daily Mail)
